Growing up in New York and Oregon I only ever had a real tree for Christmas. Then I moved to Arizona. Nothing dries out a tree and ruins the look more than our dry, desert air.
My husband finally convinced me to try a fake tree. Begrudgingly, I shopped around online and finally selected one I thought would be passable but I admit I did not hold out much hope. Would Christmas ever be the same?
Surprisingly, 8 years later, I’m still in love with that artificial tree. It has realistic needles, is pre-lit with mini white lights, fluffs just the way I want and holds it’s shape year after year even though I literally cram it back in the box at the end of each season.
